Positive: Wonderful host with freshly made bread and cake as well, plus a simpler selection of food for breakfast. We had a lovely chat with the host at breakfast about life in Iceland, they were very happy to answer any of our questions. The room was clean, great for a one night stay, with a shared bathroom/toilet and an additional toilet. There is a common room / living area with a table, chairs, fridge where you can store your food if needed.

Negative: You are not allowed to use the kitchen, so you'd need to ask the owner if you wanted to use a kettle, microwave or borrow any cups or plates to warm up or prepare your food.

Positive: The breakfast was great and included self-baked bread as well as a variety of different choices including cereals, marmelade, cheese, ham, etc. We also had a fun talk with our host, who gladly told us about life in Iceland and what sightseeing spots are worth seeing. All in all a good stay for short stays. There is a very comfy shared bathroom and we had a double bed in a medium sized room with basic features which was more than enough for our one night stay. Your restaurant reccomendation for Messinn in Reykjavik was excellent! Thank you very much, Sverrir =)

Summary: Good for short stays and there are some nice sightsseing spots to visit in the greater vicinity.
