Positive: Although it may technically be in Rishon L’Tzion, it’s really very much in the country. The bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom are in a beautifully converted British-built boxcar (from over a hundred years ago!). The living room is a light, spacious add-on. There is also a nice garden with several comfortable places to sit.

Negative: A little hard to find off the beaten track. Fortunately, a WhatsApp location got me there.

Positive: If you come to Israel for any reason, this is the place to stay!! Centrally located,amazing hosts and all visits are organized by licensed guides…. They speak English , German and Dutch as well as Hebrew and Arabic! No negatives whatsoever!

Positive: I travel very often around the world for work. I rate this accommodation as one of the best so far (I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, apartments,...). It has its own unique charm and pleasant atmosphere. Genius loci. I definitely recommend it. I cannot fully estimate the price-quality ratio here. Positive: The breakfast was excellent and was an interesting array of local delicacies with cultural associations and all freshly prepared. The farm site is an oasis of green beauty in an otherwise semi-rural landscape. There was good security throughout and locked gates for the car. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and gracious to us. It also helped that Uri is a registered tour guide and he took us on an exceptional tour. Both Lisa and Uri are two of the most genuine people you will ever have the privilege of meeting.

Negative: Possibly the array of kitchen equipment could be more extensive for self-catering, but this is a minor detail. Actually there was nothing not to like. The railway carriage bedroom was a most interesting experience.

Summary: We were welcomed with kindness and generosity and our short stay exceeded expectations.
