Positive: Every member of staff was charming, helpful, friendly and professional. the buildings that comprise the hotel are lovely, I think all must have balconies with table and chairs overlooking the sea. The bar is comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent, with a very wide choice of Greek and international food, big bowls of olives, of excellent tomatoes, eggs, warmed bacon, eggs, spinach and feta tart, a range of breads croisssants and cakes, as well as fruit juices, delicious Greek yoghurt, fruit salad, cereals, honey etc. We breakfasted most days on the covered terrace overlloking the sea. The grounds are beautiful, full of clementine and orange trees, rosemary and other herbs and lovely flowers. There are tavernas nearby at the water's edge and in the nearby small town Areopolis.

Negative: It's a long drive from Athens, which is where we flew to as Kalamata airport (quite convenient) is not fully operational in November. However, perhaps this distance is a plus, as the atmosphere of the hotel and the whole area was serene and relaxing.

Positive: Great apartment, views were incredible from the balcony. Hotel feel with a good breakfast and excellent pool/facilities. Good base to explore the Mani peninsula!
