Summary: Great time visiting Crescent City and our stay at Lighthouse View Beach Cottage was great also. Very convenient to stores/restaurants downtown and such close access to the beach and walks was wonderful. Our host Beth was very helpful with any questions we had about her house and the area. The cottage was very comfortable and easy to take care of. Great location for visiting the Redwoods and beaches northern California and southern Oregon.

Summary: The location and house were perfect location. The owner had ALOT of rules and request. Not sure if having to vacuum after are stay was necessary! Also having to take out garbage to curb. Believe we were guest?

Summary: This was a wonderful location to enjoy many of our Redwood hikes. It was very comfortable for my husband and I and another couple. It was equipped with everything we needed and just required a quick stop to the grocery store. We found several good restaurants and enjoyed being so close to the beach.

Summary: The house is clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. We really loved being so close to the parks. Stout Grove and Grove of Titans were great hikes. Taking the Battery Point Lighthouse tour was fantastic.

Summary: The property is ideally-positioned next to a scenic beach access, and local retail amenities. It is well-appointed and well-kept, quiet, and affords great views of the ocean, especially from the upstairs sitting room. We’d definitely stay here again.

Summary: Our brief stay was 4 nights and a wake up. And this little home provided us all we could ask for or need. Clean, comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Stairs to beach access were about 50 yards from the front door and we had a clear view of the lighthouse from the upstairs sun room. When driving into town was necessary, that took all of about 2 minutes. Our host had provided all kinds of information on activities and she quickly responded to our additional questions about the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again.

Summary: The entire home was clean and comfortable, having everything thing we might possibly need. We especially enjoyed the upstairs sun room with views of the lighthouse and tide pools. We would sit in the sun room with our morning coffee, or take a nap on the chase lounge, windows open, and the gentle, warm breeze brushing our face. We so enjoyed our time spent there!
