Summary: Staff/owner was very personable made me a meal on request in preparation for an even I was there to complete the next day, really good service. No frills accommodation. Comfy bed nice place very quiet

Summary: Fantastic place to stay the owners are amazing Thomas couldn’t do enough for us. He’s a trained chef and the food is excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful great for walking and mountain biking. We have booked to stay again in this gem of a place.

Summary: The hotel bedroom was clean, the bed was comfortable. The food cooked by the manager Tomasz was exceptional and plentiful. Tomasz also goes out of his way to be accommodating and is very friendly. The village of Newcastleton is unspoilt and there are wonderful riverside walks. For the more energetic a walk up the hill behind the village is well worth while. For those with transport there are a lot of interesting and historic places to visit. If you like peace and wild beauty this is for you.
