Positive: Absolutely gorgeous restored cottage. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Beautiful warm fireplace. Over 100 years of history of the cottage and original school.

Negative: We lived everything.

Positive: The age and history of the place beautiful comfortable beds, large rooms, my son had his own room he needed a sleep after a long day which he got. Beds had electric blankets. Full kitchen. I would go back but only in summer unless they put heaters in every room including the bathroom, we came from Queensland i felt the cold weather.

Negative: The fireplace kept going out causing the place to be cold they had a small heater but needs a bigger one in each room so if fire place does go out the heater can keep the place warm. The hot water was only warm.

Positive: The log fire.The house was beautifully restored and well appointed ,Wendy was a lovely host. The bath was amazing.

Negative: Unfortunately the house very cold especially the bedrooms and when we were there it was only Autumn.. Definitely needed some heating in the bathroom! An electric blanket would have been perfect, and I couldn't find a hair dryer ?
