CARETAKER'S COTTAGE, originally built in the 1960's, wastotally refurbished in 2021with comfort and relaxation in mind.Caretaker's Cottage displays rustic charm with all the modern conveniences.
THE LIVING AREA provides comfortable seating and is open to the nicely equipped, full kitchen with peninsula that seats four. There's also a smart tv, a ton of family friendly DVDs, WIFIand a good selection of books and board games.
ACCOMMODATIONS include two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, adjustable reading lamps, convenient outlets for phones & chargers and a full "Jack & Jill" bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). If you forget something, we keep a small supply of toiletries on hand.
FRESH, PLUSH TOWELSand extra blankets always available. All dishes, silverware, pots, pans, blender, coffee pot, coffee, filters, creamer & sugarare also provided. Our Keurig coffee maker is a dual feature machine, allowing drip coffee or K-pods.
THE SECLUDED PAVER PATIO contains thefire pit withfirewood, fire starters & lighter provided. Gather a little kindling right around the cottage. Cook your meals on our Blackstone grill. Experience theinvigorating outdoor shower. (available May-Oct). Get up a game of Cornhole.See if you can identify all the different types of birds at the feeders.

WE LIVE HERE on the property.Our home is located about 250' from the cottage. The cottage is semi secluded & due to the foliage we can barely see it, but we're close enough to help if you need something. You may see us out doing yard work, but other than that, we stay out of sight.

Summary: Beautiful, well kept cabin on a lovely wooded property. My niece and I enjoyed grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub. We had a quiet getaway. We also explored a winery and other nearby towns. We also hiked trails on the property. The cabin was well stocked with paper products, utensils, dishes, games and movies.

Summary: A beautiful and clean space. A perfect location away from the hustle of the city but close enough for any needs. The black stone and hot tub were nice amenities that added much ease and relaxation to our stay as well as all the special touches, such as the welcome sign and basket! Overall the property and the trails were beautiful!

Summary: Liberty Retreat is an amazing place to step away from the world and relax! Sandy and Mark, the owners were so accomadating and helpful! the propery was impressive, even with some rain we had a chance to take in some of trail on thier property. A wonderful opportunity to spend some time together. The cottage is even better than the pictures show! We had a great stay and will be back!

Summary: The home was very homey and quaint. It had everything we needed including robes and ingredients to make smores. The hiking paths were wonderful and it was great being able to stay on the property. . Would definitely stay here aagain

Summary: A cozy cabin, with a kitchen to cook our dinners, and a hot tub to relax in! We just wanted to get away for a few days. We drove into Jackson a couple times to go to their brewery and coffee shop. We also said hi to the owners dog and cat! Thanks for a great stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Retreat. With my wife being a house cleaner, cleanliness is huge for us and we were very happy with everything. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans and seasonings for us to cook all of our meals there. Loved the hot tub and the trails were cool to walk through. We would definitely stay again, especially when the weather is a little warmer!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. Everything was just as described. Mark and Sandy have thought about everything. From the moment we got there to the moment we left it felt like home. Loved having Wednesday and Ellie great us and visit too. The trails right on the property were wonderful. Will definitely visit here again
