Positive: Wonderful kasbah that makes you feel in The Thousand and One Nights tale... Please book without further hesitation. The food is absolutely delicious with high quality local products, divinely cooked by the chef Rachid. We had possibly the best dinner and breakfast from our whole stay in Morocco! Lahcen, the owner, will take good care of you and suggest you amazing walks and hikes, as he is a professional mountain guide. The region is really outstanding, full of vegetation until Kelâat and a rose festival early May. For longer stays, the High Atlas (4000m) is also very near and worth going for mountain trekking activities. Enjoy your stay in this very authentic kasbah with panoramic view over the rose fields from the valley!

Positive: A unique experience in a typical Berber home if you want to be a little removed from the typical tourist track. Lahcen is amazingly kind and helpful. As an official tour guide he took us on a stunning walk and explained the geography and culture. The food was among the best we’ve had in morroco.

Negative: Nothing! Just dress warmly as it’s surprisingly chilly for March.

Positive: Unbelievable view of the valley fields and the mountains in the background. The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed.

Negative: The water was lukewarm. On cold mornings it was a very chilly shower but so happy to have a private bathroom.

Positive: Very cool owner. Lovely, simple room with warm water. Incredible view from the terasse on the rose valley. Common room with cosy fire. Dinner was delicious, breakfast rich. Thank you!

Positive: Nice building. Comfortable bed & good breakfast. Host speaks good English. This was a rest stop for us having pre booked 3 nights.

Negative: It’s in a small town with no cafes or restaurants. While food was available it was a little pricy; the guided walks also very pricy. Day beds are available for relaxing but no comfy chairs.

Summary: Out of the main town. Host keen to help at a price.
