Positive: We loved everything about the place, it was quirky and novel, fabulous place with plenty of room for a family, very quiet albeit it is on a main road, perfect accommodation for a family with young children, as they are catered for.

Positive: The hosts were friendly & willing to assist with any questions and requests. Quick response to messages and very accommodating. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped with everything you would need (kitchen is well equipped, dishwasher, bean coffee machine, washing machine & tumble dryer, 2 x tv’s). Enough space for 4 people to spend time there comfortably, a super games room which was wonderful to spend time in as a family (and for the rainy day). There are two sets of stairs in the usual European apartment fashion, so bear this in mind when picking your luggage! The tapas from downstairs were lovely! Stèphanie ensured we had our platter waiting for us in the apartment. There is also a bakery next door, which is great for breakfast treats! The apartment is centrally situated. Bus stop is 3 steps left from the front door facing the street. Public transport is free, making it easy to explore Calais by jumping from one bus to the next (when rainy & windy) or taking the water ferry. Calais Ville train station is 5 minutes’ walk away. Just don’t get it confused with the other train station in Calais when you book a train!

Negative: Nothing to complain about at all!

Positive: The apartment was beautiful and so unique - kids loved the game room and so did we! Lovely walk past parks and shops to the beach, bakery and tapas restaurant right downstairs, parking was a breeze. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Positive: Very good and car-friendly location. Spacious apartment with very good entertainment facilities. It's located above a Tapas restaurant and near a bakery shop, so you don't have to worry about breakfast or light food. A large shopping mall is also within walking distance.

Negative: The toilet at second floor doesn't have washing basin to wash hands. The tumbler does not work well and we have to run it 2 times (~4 hours in total) to get the washed clothes 80% dried
