Positive: Although breakfast was to included the facilities had everything stored cook not only breakfast but en entire dinner. Our host , Stephan, gave us many excellent recommendations for dining out and sightseeing.

Negative: I can't think of anything that could have been improved. We were able to reach our host, Stephan, at all times. Stephan is a knowledgeable historian and cordial travel companion. He opened up our experience in a way that only a long time resident could. He picked us up promptly at the train station and made sure we were introduced to our beautiful residence. Clean and luxurious and historically renovated. Excellent location within walking distance of most sights and businesses.

Summary: I wish we could have stayed longer. It was the highlight of our Provence travels!!

Positive: A high point of our trip this year was visiting Avignon and staying at Les ANGES. The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to pretty much everything. The apartment itself is very elegant and shows a lot of love and care from its owner, Stephan. It is stocked with all the basic staples, plus fabulous goodies, like chocolate covered almonds, Cookies and Brandy. Stephan is the consummate host, from greeting us at the train station, to introducing us to his fabulous city and environs, to helping with recommendations and reservations at restaurants. I highly recommend several of Stephan’s tours into the countryside. We saw the history of the area unfold before our eyes, complete with the beauty of lavender fields and old ruins. I had been to the area multiple times in the past, but Stephan brought it alive. He is an amazing historian and an all-around great guy. (Our only regret is that he weren’t closer to us because by the end of the trip, he became a very good friend.) Les ANGES (and Stephan) are definitely experiences not to be missed.
