Positive: This was such a comfortable and clean property with a very friendly and welcoming owner! I booked last minute and wasn’t sure the reviews could be possible but they definitely are! The property is inside a larger building with gorgeous art deco entrance. My room was incredibly comfortable and clean and clearly designed by someone used to staying in hotels, unlike some places! I had a spot for everything, even to hang my coat away from my other clothes in case of wet weather! The bed and bedding was the most comfortable I’ve experienced and I slept very well, despite a storm outside (the shutters also worked very effectively). I appreciated the coffee and snack in the morning. The bathroom was very well designed with great pressure and temperature shower. There was even separate wifi for each room and as someone who both works while travelling, this was a great idea!! When I return to Sicily, I will be planning longer in Messina than I previously intended purely to enjoy relaxing here!

Negative: Nothing! My only small warnings are that it is not fully step free to the B&B (almost but not fully) and one central building door was awkward with two bags as it was heavy. Within the B&B all is perfect!

Summary: Wonderfully relaxing & impeccably clean stay right next to the port and station!

Positive: There was a 24 hour train strike and it was rainy/sleeting so I decided to stay in Messina for the night and was able to book this— close to the port and train. It’s newly remodeled and there’s a lift. Very clean, even the shared kitchen area. Heat worked well. Friendly host.

Negative: No complaints!
