Positive: The hotel is located high up in the hills with stunning views from the rooms. The rooms are relatively clean and spacious although the bathrooms could be cleaner. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dinner and breakfast options and the chef was happy to come and advice on special dishes. The buggy rides to the rooms was a bonus especially if newly arrived into Bhutan and still aclimatising.

Negative: The digital system needs to be sorted! the messing around keycards on arrival was a disappointment and once sorted with manual keys all was good. The same went to the check out when the card machine was not working and it took us almost an hour to settle the bill and leave!

Summary: Overall a delightful hotel with stunning views at sunrise!

Positive: The location and the serenity were fabulous The bar too was great The staff all of them were fabulous; well mannered and very very pleas able personalities.

Negative: The food was average ; could have been a notch higher . The menu was not at all exhaustive and lacked choice . Room service was below par in terms of time taken to deliver the food , suggest not to order room service at all . There was no higher management available to discuss the issues , No GM etc on call
