Summary: Decent property overall, with excellent breakfast and dinner menus in the Citrus restaurant. Very courteous staff at the restaurant including Mr Virender and Mr Negi, and equally brilliant housekeeping. However, the staff at the front desk is a big let-down as they are mostly clueless about anything to do around the hotel or have to call in someone higher up all the time. Also could do with some smiles on their faces. An even bigger issue is they don't provide any meals or even a basic blanket for drivers which is quite inhumane, given that any other big property does provide basic meals for drivers or is expected of them. We were informed of this by our driver at the end of our 2 nights stay, and that they asked him for ₹500 for a breakfast. Add to that the remote location of the property, which is a bit far away from the nearest populated areas, the driver was forced to drive 20 kms to grab any meals.

Summary: The property is quite large and the general atmosphere pleasant. It has several facilties including a pool. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the room, which is the most important thing was very disappointing due to a very strong moldy smell. I confirmed that there was mold on the sofa chairs. I pointed out the smell but was told it's just the refresher. As a result I had a pretty miserable night. For a $100 room this is unacceptable. While the view at the back of the property is really nice (river and mountains), the view out of the window was a construction site. Finally, the location on the map was very misleading. The property is not actually in Ramnagar, but about a 45 min drive from there. The road there is very narrow with only one lane in most places and quite rough since parts are under construction.

Summary: The look of the property is brilliant and so is its staff and service. Check in was pretty smooth. Rooms are really spacious. In terms of the location, the property is higher up and slightly secluded from other hotels and resorts.

Summary: Very nice location. Calm and serene surroundings. Food quality was average. Room service was prompt and staff was curteous.

Summary: Overall stay was good. Good for kids and infants as the play area and the assistant there was very helpful. On our last night there was a large group which made a lot of noise till 4 AM. Very disturbing.

Summary: A beautiful resort in a beautiful mountain setting near Jim Corbett National Park. The accommodations were first class, as was the breakfast buffet. The service was extraordinary and friendly. Prior to arriving, the staff worked with me via email to arrange taxi pickup from Moradabad, as well as arranging the required jeep and guide for the safaris into Jim Corbett Park. The Park has several gates and the hotel is near one of them. It’s 20-40 kilometers or so from two other gates, respectively. For the morning safaris, that is a quick drive because traffic is light. For the afternoon safaris, the drive to the gates is more time-consuming because of the traffic. The outdoor pool is a good size but not deep enough for diving. From the pool one can look at the surrounding mountains and it’s very relaxing. The exercise room is quite small: two new treadmills, one adjustable bench, and a selection of dumbbells. They didn’t have any alcohol in their otherwise excellent restaurant, so one has to purchase it themselves in Ramnagar, which is about a half hour from the hotel. It was my first trip to India (from the US) and I had arrived from the craziness of Delhi — so the accommodations, service, and location of the Lemontree were the perfect cure for my frazzled mind.
