Positive: The property is truly awesome. The owner is super cooperative. The best part is the location, it faces a fjord. If lucky, you will get a spectacular view of the northern lights.

Negative: There are no super markets nearby so come prepared.

Positive: I had an absolutely amazing experience staying at this home. It didn’t feel like a typical rental at all — it truly felt like home. Warm, cozy, and full of thoughtful details that gave it a genuine, welcoming atmosphere. The view was incredible. On clear nights, you could even see the Northern Lights right from the window or from the lakeside — a truly unforgettable sight. But what really made the experience special was the host and his lovely children. They were incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and genuinely hospitable. The host was not only informative and helpful, but he also went out of his way to show me around the city. I was traveling alone for my birthday, and thanks to their kindness, it turned out to be one of the best birthday nights I’ve ever had.

Positive: Beautiful property overlooking the fjord, with a beautiful view from the living room and both bedrooms, a terrace from where you can watch beautiful auroras. The apartment is well equipped with all things needed and more (umbrellas, safety vests, head lights, crampons, snow shoes, walking sticks, sledges). There is even a plug in the parking lot to charge the electric car. The hosts have thought of everything and they were always reachable and quick with responses. The area around the house is beautiful to walk around, there is a beach and play ground nearby. Bus stop is right in front of the house and easy 20 mins drive from Tromso city. The hosts went above and beyond to help us and make our stay comfortable and memorable. Will definitely be back here!

Positive: Incredible apartment, views are breathtaking, so lucky to see Aurora on 2 occasions. Jon and Linn are superb hosts, excellent communication and great attention to detail in the apartment. Really was a home away from home. Can't wait to visit Tromso again 🥰

Positive: Everything was perfect! The house : modern, high tech with great furnitures. Sparkling clean. You’ll have a balcony connected to the hall for aurora watching and stargazing. Complete kitchen. There’s equipments to play with snow during winter. VIEW WAS PERFECT. Owner was thoughtful. Gave us helpful advices to enjoy Tromso to the fullest and we were lucky enough on our last day he took us to catch aurora. We had cute black cat occassionally check up on us during our stay.

Negative: Wished we had stayed longer here! It’s not just a roof to stay under. There’s so much things to do around the house.

Positive: When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the property and the hospitality with a bottle of sparkling to settle us in. The property is situated up from the coast line, giving beautiful views of the water and, most of all, the mountains! The apartment is stunning and luxuriously fitted with all modern conveniences such as underfloor heating, fully fitted kitchen, super speaker for Bluetooth connectivity, and netflix. The bathroom is beautiful, and absolutely luxurious shampoo , conditioner, and body wash were supplied! Outside, the garden is big enough to sit and capture the views and the northern lights! The bus stop is right outside, meaning you can easily visit Tromso (or venture further afield). Bus timetables are available online and are frequent and seem to not run on Sundays. Hiring a car isn't necessarily a must at all. The owners answered any queries very quickly and were very lovely hosts. We love Tromso, and we will definitely stay here again.
