Positive: The beds and linen were great. The staff were lovely. The pub food was nice. Toiletries were good. The coffee and tea was great too! Air con was great and on for us when we arrived. The art around the hotel and rooms were wonderful.
Negative: There was a hole in the ceiling above the toilet with mould a few drops of water came down. There was mould elsewhere in the room and peeling paint on the walls and ceiling. The flooring was stained. Hopefully

Positive: The staff were amazing during my stay here. I got stuck for the night when the road was closed due to flooding. The room was comfortable and clean and the meals were delicious. This iconic hotel was better than I expected and I’m glad I stayed here. If I needed a stop over again I would definitely stay again. It’s a shame there was no beer, or was there? Hmmm …. :) Thanks again, I look forward to calling in on my way through next time.
