Opening in July 2015, built in 1872 by Reginald Wyndham from Wyndham Estate, The house has been renovated to it's 1872 glory and also provides the luxuries expected of a 21st century 5 star hotel set high on a ridge overlooking the Hunter Valley and the Hunter River.
We offer an experience of a boutique hotel, more than just a room. We only accommodate adults providing a restful environment.
Close to Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley - the main wine growing areas, wineries, concert venues (Bimbadgen Estate, Hope Estate & Roche Estate) and restaurants.
We have available four spacious suites each accommodating 2 or 3 adults only. - please check out our website for details.

Summary: We loved the history of the property and its surroundings, our hosts Mark and richard were amazing and ensured we had a memorable experience that will do again in the future. the hosts made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable, and clearly take great pride in everything they do.

Summary: We were nothing but impressed with our stay at Leconfield House. Richard and Mark are wonderful hosts who have thought of all those little extras that make your getaway extra special. They have just the right mis of interaction and privacy and are lovely to chat to and spend time with. The house itself is beautiful (the photos online don't quite do it justice) and was immaculately clean and well appointed. The surroundings are peaceful and within an easy drive to the main Pokolbin attractions. We were also lucky enough to take an all-day wine tour with Richard which was terrific. If you are considering a stay at Leconfield House definitely do it ... you won't be disappointed!
