Positive: The house sits right on the river, and there is a fire pit right next to it. It sits off the main road, but is still easily accessible. There are several hiking trails nearby. It's only about 15 minutes from Leavenworth. There are games to play, puzzles to put together. It was a great place to have family meet together :) There was firewood available on the property to use in the fire pits.

Negative: One stair going down to the river was broken, and at least two more are loose. One of the kitchen drawers had pots and pans wedged under it to keep it level. The dishwasher has leaked, or is leaking, and has ruined the kitchen floor. The upstairs bathtub drains slowly and has paint peeling.

Negative: The steps to the creek are in need of repair, no A/C, water treatment needed (skin felt very greasy after showers or washing hands), and some kitchen drawers were difficult to open

Positive: Location was perfect 👌 the house was clean and ready for us when we arrived, beautiful house and property. I never met the staff, but I appreciated the road being plowed each day and hope my thanks reaches them!

Negative: The water here is very hard, it is well water, and filtered but the location definitely has a sulfur smell and taste, so I'd definitely bring drinking water with you. And all of the board games we tried to play at this cabin were about 80% complete, so we couldnt play them. And those are the only negative things i could really come up with.

Positive: The house was spacious and plenty of room for a larger group. I was so glad it was pet-friendly which makes traveling with our furry friend a lot easier! The house is off of the main highway, but back enough that it is quiet & feels secluded. The driving instructions were important because google maps was directing us to a different place!

Negative: Though no fault of the property owner, unfortunately during our stay there was a several-feet high build up of snow around the house and street, and main roads were fine but as soon as we turned off the highway it was very icy getting to the driveway. Luckily we had the right vehicle/tires but our friends struggled a bit in their car! We weren't able to really walk around the property or enjoy the outside areas because it was covered in snow!

Summary: Comfortable & spacious property, easy distance to Leavenworth town.

Positive: Plenty of sleeping and very comfortable beds. Nice setting on river. Kitchen well equipped. Several decks and plenty of outdoor space for a large group.

Negative: The home is old and dated. A number of things did not work as advertised. The screws and nails on the deck are sticking out making it an injury hazard. Old stereo doesn't work. Foosball table has hole in the middle and no balls anyway so our planned tournament had to be cancelled. Water dispenser and ice maker in fridge not functioning. All trash receptacles were full and overflowing so no place to put trash. Very unsanitary and unsightly upon arrival. Here is my list: 1. overhead fan does not work 2. Water dispenser on fridge 3. Foosball table hole in middle and no balls 4. Stereo only 1 speaker works 5. Upstairs tub/shower finish pealing coming off 6. Garbage overflowing and full at arrival 7. Deck screws protruding and dangerous injury potential Generally not worth the $1500 for 2 nights we paid. Would have been fair at half the price.

Summary: We enjoyed our time together. Plenty of room for the group of 9. Grossly overpriced.

Positive: Location. We traveled to the area for a white Christmas and got exactly that! The house is cozy with plenty of room for our family of 7. The home is well stocked with cookware, that doesn’t stick! Plenty of the necessary paper products and cleaning supplies. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. The driveway was plowed twice while we were there. We had about 10-12 inches of snow so that was helpful. If you enjoy country cabins this is the place.

Positive: It seemed to have anything and everything that you were looking for

Negative: Late check in and early check out made it seem like you are paying for a day that you won’t get to enjoy. The were a few things that were overlooked while cleaning from the last group but no big deal we just set it aside. And over looked the rest.
