Summary: The hotel is very easy to find as it is on the bank of the river Meuse as you enter the town of Givet from the south. There is private parking to the rear which is accessible through the nearby public car park. The proprietor locks the gates at night so the vehicle is very secure. We came in through the back door from the car park. It is small family run hotel and we were greeted by the proprietor who sorted our room for us. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but serves a very good breakfast with a choice of hot and cold items, Everything looks very fresh, with buffet items served from a chilled cabinet with doors. The front of the hotel has a bar which was very busy on Sunday as it was warm and sunny. There did not appear to be much choice of restaurants in the town. We ate at the Brasserie de l'Hotel de Ville on the Saturday which was very good and very busy but this was closed on the Sunday. The Auberge de la Tour is next door to the hotel but much more expensive, but the standard was very good indeed.
