Summary: We had a wonderful time! The property is lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and such a wonderful opportunity to talk with Antoine and the other guests, learn more about the history of the place and tips on what to do around the area. We highly recommend it.

Summary: We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. Our host Antonine was incredibly hospitable, gave us lots of advice about the surrounding area and châteaux. The breakfasts were fantastic and we met the other guests, served at a large table where we could all talk to each other and discuss our plans for the day.

Summary: Hosts, Antoine and Anne Marie, went the extra mile to provide a most welcoming stay. Fabulously restored house and stunning gardens set in a wonderfully peaceful rural village. Excellent variety of things to eat, especially a large variety of jams made by Antoine along with honey from the beehives in the garden. Need to spend longer with Antoine and Anne Marie on our next visit as they are exceptionally good hosts.

Summary: We had and incredible experience and lovely days at Le Prieure d'Orchaise. You will be lodging in an amazing and beautiful place with lot of history and comfort. The facilities are very classic and original with all modern comfort you could expect. A part of that you have at your disposal an incredible botanical garden.Its a paradise of beauty and peace. But the best thing was the convenience with the owners. Very lovely and friendly host, always worried to provide to you an outstanding service that’s make you feel at home. We definitely recommend it and will come back again

Summary: The hosts were fantastic. We were provided with luxurious accommodation set in a large acreage of lawn and wooded grounds. The large house wash elegantly furnished. The hosts joined us at breakfast and we had many fascinating discussions on numerous topics as well as recommendations of visits to suite our interests

Summary: We had an absolutely extraordinary stay at the Prieure D'Orchaise. Do yourself a favor and book this property before the rest of the world finds out about it. Our family was looking for a unique stay in the Loire valley region that was within driving distance of the various chateaux. We initially booked the Prieure because it sort of looked like a castle and we thought the kids would enjoy the stay. Not only did we enjoy ourselves, but we will almost certainly return! The room was superb, the breakfast exceptional, and the grounds inviting. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed playing with the hunting dog and had a fantastic time looking at the various treasures in the Prieure (the pirate chest was a favorite). The host is incredibly friendly and entertained us with a variety of stories about the Prieure and the family's history. The host was also kind enough to walk us to the village bakery one morning. The Prieure is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Blois and about 45 minutes from Castle Chenonceau and Castle Chambord. By vehicle it is approximately 2 hours from Paris Orly airport. I can't say enough good things about the Prieure D'Orchaise. Just extraordinary hospitality and exceptional accommodations. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. We are eager to return!
