Negative: I stayed in a room that's door lead to a common room. Though no real fault of the staff or guests, some guests arrived late and spent some time chatting and microwaving and eating food right outside my door. I was very tired and they kept me awake for a couple of hours and I had to get dressed and leave the room and walk through them to use the bathroom. My recommendation to the staff would be find a better space for the common area, rather than have microwave and coffee machines outside the bedrooms

Positive: The very warm welcoming hosts...including Mona the beautiful labrador! Stunning setting and home. We e joyed the warm.pool.too ! Scrumptious breakfast and delicious coffee!

Negative: Nothing.. Everything was absolutely perfect !

Positive: The building is in an ancient priory and looked like a castle - it was beautiful!! It was next to a river which we could walk to in a few steps. The restaurant next door had delicious food. Our bathroom was AMAZING - huge! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We went to a medieval town thanks to the recommendation of one of the owners. Breakfast was very typically French (croissants, hot chocolate or coffee) and the dining area was gorgeous! I would go back there in a heartbeat, but would get a bigger bedroom.

Negative: Americans - we are used to big soft beds. In all the hotels and places we stayed for 3 weeks in France, the beds were 3/4 of an American twin size and even put together they made barely a double. This was the case everywhere, not just here. Sometimes the beds are hard but these were pretty comfortable.

Summary: I loved it and would go back.

Positive: The breakfast room is beautiful and a joy to eat within. Someone has an extraordinary eye for color and design.

Negative: It was difficult to find. the signage is small and our GPS led us past the place. It was only when I got out of our car and walked along the road was I able to find the entrance. Better directions would help.
