Positive: Set away from a main road in a very narrow private alleyway. Secure key code gate led to courtyard garden and accommodation also had a key code to input to access the apartment. It was a quirky place with lots of bird life to see from the kitchen window. All furnished and there were toiletries, some food basics, all utensils and cooking facilities (hob and microwave) were provided too.

Negative: My friend is over 6ft so struggled with the sloping ceiling in the bedroom, concerned he'd keep hitting his head. . I wasn't comfortable in the bed, there was also a very loud party or a bar open until gone 4am Sunday morning so there was music and loud conversations happening.

Positive: Located peaceful in a local neighbourhood called Charrone, nicely outside the touristy area yet it is lively with great restaurants, bars and easy access to la nation metro which brings you everywhere in Paris. I really enjoyed my stay as you have the place all for yourself giving you privacy and being in a unique place with charming decor and architecture. The host is also responsive and nearby if needed.

Negative: During winter the place gets slightly cold and you can't regulate it as it is centrally heated. For me it was OK as I didn't spent much time inside but it could be an issue for those who prefer it warmer.

Positive: Lovely place, just like in the pictures. The owner is very nice and responsive. On the first day, we had a problem with the electricity and Wi-Fi, but it was fixed within two hours. We loved the quietness of the place, it felt as if we weren’t in Paris at all. After intensive days exploring the city, it was wonderful to return ‘home’ to such a peaceful, zen atmosphere. We will definitely go back

Positive: Nice little apartment in a beautiful street closed to traffic, with a lot of plants. Very easy to get in and out without having to collect keys, you can simply use the two codes provided. Inside it's clean, simple and there's everything you need for a comfortable stay, we were able to cook some meals without any problem. It's absolutely silent all around which is a bonus for me. You can find at least 4 metro stops within walking distance, so getting around is not a problem. We also reached Le Marais with a 40 minutes walk. It was refreshing to stay in a less touristy part of the city and get to see a bit more of real life.

Negative: If it's your first time in Paris and you want to be in the middle of the action this may not be the place for you since you have to rely on public transport to reach all the touristic parts, it was my 10th time so it was not a problem for me. You have to climb a flight of kinda steep stairs to reach the bed. Again, not a problem for us but consider it if you have mobility issues.
