Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Caravan was nice, beds were comfortable, the person who checked us in was helpful, he came out to let us in when we arrived at 9.30pm but this did cost us an additional £35. Site was nice, all noise/music stopped at 11.30pm which was good.

Negative: Paid £50 (2x£25) for bedding, this was laughable and luckily we did laugh. We were given a very old double duvet cover to throw over us, no duvet provided, when i asked i was told they dont use duvets in France only sheets. So i could not understand why I had been given an old duvet cover that looked like it should be used as a dust sheet. Not a problem and didnt effect our stay but considering this cost me £50 !!!!! I cant understand why the owner of the caravan would not re- invest part of the £50 and purchase some half decent SHEETS for the beds. Bad really ! Only 1 mug provided, so only one of us could have a cup of coffee at a time. No serving dishes or cereal bowl, etc provided, which if we had been catering for more than 2 people would have been a real issue. Again just no thought gone into the comfort of their guests. Quick to take additional monies but not provide a high class service. Chairs outside were broken, we were told this was just how they were. We covered the holes with a cardboard box and then we could sit without falling through the holes. It really was quite dirty when we arrived, we cleaned ourselves before leaving instead of paying ANOTHER £65 for cleaning and I know for sure that the dirt we were cleaning from under beds, windows, cookers and bathrooms was old dirt that had been there a long time.
