Positive: Privacy, beautiful, historical building with gorgeous gardens to wander through. Private balcony, breakfast a lovely selection of breads, cheeses, yoghurt, fruit, croissants and freshly squeezed juices. Dining was held in an orangie with views to the garden. Patricia our host went beyond to make us welcome and her desire to put Caudry on the map to visit and enjoy was admirable. Her dog, Tuxoo was a wonderful addition with his friendly personality and antics. We wish we had more time to discover more about Caudry, it's people and history and the surrounding areas. We will try to return again.

Positive: Lovely gardens with great space downstairs. Host was very helpful

Negative: The late check is a problem especially when the gates are closed. They offer wine and a lovely place to sit, so why not open earlier. The bedroom was lovely but the bathroom was very small, the hot water was difficult to control. I like hot water but this was a bit too much. Maybe it was a problem that can be solved. I had messaged through booking.com the morning of our stay to ask for an evening meal, but the host had not received it. So no evening meal. However a local restaurant was booked for us. I tried booking an Uber but none available so we had to drive.
