Positive: Absolutely perfect! Wish we could've stayed longer than one night. The bed was perfect, the bathroom was lovely, shower was terrific, the home was GORGEOUS. Right across from the church, top of a pretty village of character. We feel so lucky to have found Phillippe's home. What a find! We will most definitely return! Google stops you on the wrong end of the block. So continue down the street just a few houses down and your at the parking square of the church and there is your mansion with private entrance. Absolutely y best part is your host Willy. ❤️ What a kind and generous man. You will be treated with respect and he will make you the most wonderful breakfast in all of France. Truly one of the best stays we've had in our 30 years of visiting France. Dinner recommendation right in this lovely village... Les Clos Margot, fantastic for dinner and walking distance of the grand house.

Positive: There was a very relaxed atmosphere in the house, and Willy was so helpful .. cooked an amazing breakfast of scramble eggs, and parsley from his garden to decorate it. The house was was beautiful, I think lived in by the owners parents, so the house was decorated with family portraits and books. They are at present renovating the main house, to provide even more luxurious rooms. Watch this space.

Positive: Breakfast excellent, despite having to ring a bell & have our part of the house unlocked Host Phillip very nice

Negative: More than one pillow each. Would be good No tv, no tea/coffee facility Very quiet town. We were told by the host of a couple of restaurants, walked to them but all closed , so had to get in car & drive 10 miles to find an open one

Summary: Interesting, superb quiet location but please find out when restaurants are open

Positive: The location was perfect for us as we were dining with french friends in a nearby restaurant. Before meeting our friends I walked the 5km walk around Lac De Tremelin. The breakfast was delicious. Our host treated us like his own family

Positive: Private, Clean, quiet, Willy is very friendly, lots of space. Good bed.

Negative: It needs guest information. Could not get onto the WiFi which needs to be made easily accessible. Shower curtain is an odd arrangement. Front door needs a sign on it. Hard to know if you are in the right place.

Positive: On this occasion we did not stay at the property. We were visiting on a fleeting visit for a funeral. Friends locally said we could stay with them at the last minute. Philippe was very communicative from the start of the booking process and was happy to keep the room for us in case our plans changed at the last minute. He was very accommodating and helpful especially under the circumstances.
