Summary: The owners are the ideal hosts. They had an excellent recommendation for dinner about a 15 minute walk to the nearby town. I wanted to eat there again the next night but it closed early for a Sunday rest. The room was clean and well decorated. Breakfast is well done with much sourced nearby and homemade

Summary: What a delight; a real jewel. Delightful, but a car needed to gat there. Madame Juana gave an excellent reception (French and Romantic languages only) with husband Eric (excellent English) as the overall experience outside; a deep natural knowledge. Recommend.

Summary: A real hidden gem; magical gardens, pond, pathways all around, dotted with grape arbors, berry bushes and fruit trees. Honey and several different preserves all made right out of the garden with care and love by the hands-on proprietor, and served at the breakfast table.

Summary: A lovely place to stay if you want to switch off and wind down. The location is fabulous as are the grounds. Lots of places to sit and take in the sounds of the forest. There is also plenty to see and do in the area. A visit to the armistice memorial was especially worthwhile. Our hosts Juana and Éric were fantastic. Our room was lovely and lived up to the beauty of the surroundings and stayed cool in the hot weather. Breakfast was very good and you even have a choice of home made jams and honey, all sourced from the surrounding forest. We will visit again no question.

Summary: Warm welcome to a spot deep in the forest. Bedroom and bath were crowded with no privacy in bathroom. We enjoyed the common area with fireplace.

Summary: I loved this place! It was a surprise find since we were looking for a point close to CDG but not in the city. It was charming, stylish, well-loved by its kind and well-coming owners. The garden was beautiful. If I hadn’t been traveling with my sister I would say it was very romantic! Breakfast was fantastic with amazing home made jams. We watched the hostess carry-in fresh ingredients for our strawberry-rhubarb jam. The green-tomato jam was a revelation. The hosts recommended the local village (600m up the road) for dinner. Two very good choices, one with a Michelin star, up the road. Nearby village (Pierrefonds) has a semi-restored castle and a village with great restaurant choices. I will stay here again!!
