Positive: Lovely rural location 1km from Bonnemain, and equal distance from Combourg and Dol de Bretagne (8km). We had the smaller gite (Le Coin) which was very comfortable and well equipped and had the advantage of a large outside area connecting with the main grounds. The outdoor swimming pool is of a good size and kept in a pristine condition. The kitchen area was very well equipped and the bed and furniture was all good.

Negative: High cost of cleaning (80 euro) and bedding and towels (30 euro). Perhaps will need a bit of general refurbishment soon.

Positive: The big open space for the dog to run around

Negative: The television could not receive UK channels, so unable to access radio or news. The electricity cut out three times while we were there, for no apparent reason. This needs sorting out. The shower head was loose and I couldn't tighten it As we paid 80 euros for cleaning, I did not see why we had to strip the bed and sweep the floors, etc. If this had been a hotel, I would not be expected to do this.

Summary: very relaxing place to stay with friendly hosts.

Positive: Excellent Host. Easy to communicate. Reactive. The property is located some 30 min drive away from the main attractions of the area (St Malo, Cancale). Nice and cosy, spotless clean. The property has got all the facilities a family with kids might need. Surrounded by the farms. Easy to walk around if you have a dog. Private parking belongs to the property. The Fireplace!!!! Something you need in winter/fall seasons in Bretagne along with the good company and Calvados.

Negative: The wifi signal was not strong enough, although the owners expect to have a new contract with the internet provider soon to be concluded. That should have fixed the problem.

Summary: definitely recommend to those who wish to discover the local neighborhood

Positive: Lovely outdoors and facilities. Pool very clean. Quiet area but close to shops

Negative: Some extra pillows would have been nice as they were quite flat an uncomfortable for us as we're used to higher pillows. Some sort of access to a washing machine would have been good as we have a young child and I had to do lots of hand washing
