Positive: Location, staff, breakfast, almost everything very fine....a bit of a garden or even a small outdoor dehor would be ideal

Positive: sitting on the private balcony watching the world go by is fun. The hotel has an interesting location and view but it isn't the quietest, if you want complete peace, go elsewhere. Very pleasant staff. excellent formal dining room with traditional formal service. Fantastic cheeseboard ! The decor throughout the hotel, including the bedroom, is clean, smart and very stylish. Nothing seems at all 'tired'.

Negative: The room was a little small, it's an oldish building and clearly a very good effort has been made to equip the room to modern standards of facility and decor, including a large comfortable bed, this compromises the space for two people to actually move around. We did , however, sleep very comfortably. The bathroom was very nicely fitted

Positive: Everything was very good, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We ate both evenings in the restaurant and both meals were excellent.

Negative: Our room was probably a little bit on the small side, but it was comfortable and very clean.
