Positive: The place was very clean and renovated with nice towels and linen. The hosts are friendly and responsive. There is plenty of parking on the driveway, so parking our large van was not an issue. The location in the countryside near other beautiful houses is nice and makes for nice walks.

Negative: The picture shows the main house, but this area is private and cannot be accessed. You actually stay in a small house on the side near the entrance. There are goats in the back yard that are super cute, but I found out you are not really allowed back there. There were not enough towels when we came in, but the host came and dropped them off.

Summary: Nice play to stay between Brittany and Normandy coasts. Would definitely return.

Positive: Amazing property with amazing hosts. Catherine and Frederick were brilliant and so welcoming. Apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished with everything you would need. Lovely peaceful sleep in the countryside.😊

Positive: Very warm welcome by hosts Catherine and Dominique. And the washing machine and welcome of dog Stella!

Negative: State of the appartement; not really clean, and quite some small construction points which where not finished yet. No vacuumcleaner available.

Summary: Nice central location in Normandy, warm welcome by the hosts, appartement not really clean.

Positive: Nice guesthouse with plenty of room for the family. The hostess and host were accommodating and nice. We got some good advice on places to go to. Breakfast was brought to the guest house upon our request.

Positive: Nice place, very responsive hosts, beds were comfortable, loveable dog on the property. The main house is impressive, but just know that it really has nothing to do with the rental facilities, which are two separate small houses off to the side. The hosts were extremely nice and gracious, and live there, which was a big help because I forgot to call ahead of time to make sure they'd be there with the keys.

Negative: Apparently, to the French, "Guest House" means no soap in the showers (both of them had empty soap tubes in them) no hand towels or waste baskets in the bathrooms, even the upstairs one; plus only one small roll of toilet paper between two bathrooms. When inquired about these things, we were told it was a "guest house," and so those things would not be expected. Perhaps to the French, but I would encourage the owners to spend the handful of euros and offer these things up front because I think most international guests would expect them. They did provide the items promptly when asked, so no complaints there, it just seemed odd to us that even toilet paper isn't expected. Also, they don't provide the A/C remote and it will only turn on at I think 28 degrees. Opening the windows upstairs was the solution but one of our party is very sensitive to mosquitos and they ate her alive. Anyway, I understand the reasoning, but it might not hurt to let people know ahead of time that there's A/C, but with conditions. In the end, we had a good time, but again, a few euros spent would have made for a five star review.

Summary: Probably 10.0 rating if you're French and expect exactly what we got

Positive: Our hosts went above and beyond. We had a kitchen in our apartment for 2 couples to use for preparing the meals. The distance to the supermarket was 4 min. We were almost perfectly located within an hour of the different sites that we wanted to see. No noise and there was an interesting history about the house that we were able to discover.

Summary: We were extremely happy and would go back again!
