Positive: The guest house is really authentic and beautifully preserved. You can see that Sara and Edouard really respected the original structure during the renovation. The rooms are also really cosy and scenic. We stayed in the Library room, and it was like waking up in a film every morning. The house is located inbetween the picturesque Provence vineyards. So it is really calm and quiet.

Positive: Very clean and in a quiet area surrounded by nature. The hosts were super lovely, easy to talk to, and responsive to our requests. Chlorine-free swimming pool is a plus, our kids enjoyed it.

Negative: We liked the place very much, but just know that to drive up to the property you must drive very slowly/carefully because the last part is an unpaved road in the farming area/vineyard.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Le Deffend Vieux. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with so much charm. The hosts, Sara and Edouard, were kind and generous. They showed us their garden, gave us tips for local exploring, and made a lovely breakfast. The house sits in the middle of vineyards with walking trails and east access to hikes. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to coming back again!
