Positive: Melanie is a generous, gracious host! She met us when we arrived and spent time carefully showing us around the rooms and features of her home. The house contains a fascinating collection of art and objects -you could stay for a month and still discover new, interesting things. Melanie spent more than an hour on one day of our stay telling us about the history of the house, and we saw her several other times. She was able to move easily from French to English to communicate with us clearly. There are four very comfortable bedrooms and three lovely baths. The kitchen is beautiful and the coffee maker is amazing. The dining room and the outdoor patio are spacious. There are two cozy living rooms, one with a fireplace and one with a wood stove. At the maximum, we had seven people from four different families and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The location is wonderful for exploring Burgundy, and the parking spaces were great. Le Clos de Melanie was more than we could have dreamed of, and we enthusiastically and unequivocally recommend it to you.

Negative: There was nothing that we didn't like - we appreciated everything about this experience.

Positive: Fabulous house full of very eclectic Objet d' art, whilst the items may not be to everyone's taste it made for interesting conversation within our party. Lovely village location, highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Negative: Those with limited mobility may struggle with the stairs in this accommodation
