Positive: Very clean excellent for a asthmatic like myself. Do get the upgraded room the view is gorgeous! I'm keto low glycemic and the breakfast options were very generous. Everything is so close and this village is more quiet than Epernay. Thr rooms are double the size than expected. The bird watching from the room is relaxing. I highly recommend it.

Positive: We really totally enjoyed our two night's stay in Clos D'Ay... Monsieur and Madame were both wonderful and attentive hosts and fantastic at providing advice for places to visit and things to do. The room was quite simply beautiful and absolutely everything was thought of in regards to our comfort. We must also mention how relaxing the room was as it was very hot when we were there and yet the room was kept cool throughout our stay. Ay and the surrounding area are fascinating and we would totally recommend this beautiful house and the fantastic hosts to everyone. Denis and Anne (July 2025)

Positive: Second visit, beautiful house and garden in a peaceful location. Sat outside for breakfast with the birds singing, eating the best omelette. Spotlessly clean and excellent facilities. Great hosts.

Positive: We had a beautiful spacious room with a new modern bathroom in a great building. The owners were extremely helpful and looked after us like royalty. We were also presented with a very lovely breakfast with eggs cooked to order and homemade yoghurt!
Negative: The only thing missing was the opportunity for a glass of champagne available to purchase at the residence!
