It presents a bedroom for 2, a bathroom, separate toilets, 30m2 living room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining corner, sitting corner with sofa bed, TV with French numeric cable, DVD-player and wireless Internet access. This room opens onto a 25m2 terrace through sliding picture windows, giving access to the first outdoor lounge. When you leave this terrace, you will find a second outdoor lounge with a BBQ under a canopy of hundred-year-old oaks. In this flowery corner, you will find the ideal space to practice the typical lunchtime sport : "la pétanque" (French boules) Less than 1 km away, you will find many activities (hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, swimming in the river, horse-riding, tree climbing, flying trapeze...) as well as an 18-hole golf course (Provence Country club). Summary: We stayed in the beautiful gite for one week. We received a very warm welcome, many suggestions for trips into the environment, and a coffe for goodbuy.

Summary: Our hosts Gilberte and Francine were exceptional; a very warm welcome with apéro in the shade of the garden when we arrived, coffee to send us on our way to the next stage of our journey. People who are genuinely interested in their guests as people. The little cottage is very well designed and comfortable and very well equipped; the air conditioning was very welcome during the hot weather but the nights were cool and we slept very well on the comfortable bed with the windows wide open and the insect proofing keeping the mosquitoes out. The garden is spacious, peaceful, calm and has plenty of shady spots to rest, read or even sleep! L’Isle sur la Sorgue is not far away and had plenty of choice for shopping. We cannot recommend this place and its wonderful hosts highly enough. It is a brilliant place to spend time and there is plenty of walking and exploring in the area. A place for a great vacation.

Summary: This is a very nice gite. The unit is attached to the main house. The location of the property is central for visiting many of the top sights in Provence. Even though it is in the countryside, grocery stores such as Super U, bakeries, and the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are just a few minutes away by driving. For the golfers, there is a course only minutes away. Topping the list of things that we love about this unit is the clean and immaculate condition of the interior. Everything looked brand new. There is not a scratch on the wall. The decor is well thought out and radiates country charm. There is a large patio door off the living room that lets in lots of light and keeps the place bright and airy. At the end of a tiring day of sightseeing, it was so nice to come back to this peaceful oasis. The owners provided many thoughtful touches that made our stay great, e.g., generous size wardrobe, plenty of good quality hangers, extra shelving space in the bathroom next to the sink to hold toiletries, powerful hairdryer, towel dryer, clothes pins and basins to carry out your laundry to your own clothesline after washing in the washing machine, charcoal and lighting cubes for the onsite BBQ. The unit is just the right size for a couple. There is limited counter space for full scale cooking. The fridge and freezer are of good size. There are sugar, salt, pepper and coffee in the cupboard. Other ingredients you would have to bring or purchase. The owners do not speak English but we communicated just fine with a little help from google translate. What everyone said about them is true. They were exceptionally warm and friendly and very accommodating. They welcomed us like old friends and even provided us with yummy treats! They were also very discrete. The perfect host! We hope to return one day soon!
