Positive: The proprietor Andre was excellent. He met and welcomed us warmly and made us feel very welcome. He gave us a thorough tour of the property pointing all of the things we needed to know and how to use the appliances. The property itself was superb, not only in it condition but also it's location. Andre was always on hand if you needed his help. Superb! Bergerac ia a beautiful historic town. It was really peaceful and perfect for a short break. The market was excellent offering a wide range of organic foods combined with a great atmosphere. Ivan

Positive: The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved having the washing machine. The location was perfect in the centre of the historic district but easy walking distance to the train station. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor with no lift but Andre helped with the heavy bags which was very welcome. Andre was a very helpful host despite our poor knowledge of the French language.

Negative: An oven would have been a bonus, it would have allowed us to cook and eat in one night.

Positive: We LOVED our stay at the Chic en Ville ! The apatment was very clean, very modern, has loads of storage, a good kitchen area and lovely bathroom, excellent WIFI, a very comfy bed and the underground parking is an absolute bonus. The air conditioning / heating works very well. The location is also perfect: right in the centre of historic Bergerac but in a very quiet street. The host, André, is super friendly and very helpfull - he waited for us upon arrival (although we were almost an hour late due to car rental) and showed us round whilst explaining everything. His mobile phone number is in the flat in case there would be any problems. This apartment is an absolute little gem - we will definitely come back - it's a 10/10

Positive: My stay was fantastic! The apartment was much bigger than I expected, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean. It’s located right in the heart of Bergerac’s historic center, which made everything so easy to explore. The host, Andrae, was extremely kind and helpful. Even though we didn’t speak each other’s language, Google Translate worked perfectly, and Andrae took the time to explain how everything in the apartment works. He really made an effort to make me feel welcome. Bergerac itself felt magical, and I will definitely come back — both to the town and to this apartment.

Positive: The accommodation is lovely. Well thought out interior. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Even down to the washing liquid for the washing machine. Andre was very welcoming and put us at ease. Our French is basic but it didn’t matter he made a real effort to make sure everything was perfect.The car parking was a bonus. Great location. Would definitely recommend and return if we were in Bergerac again.
