Positive: There was a real atmosphere of intimate luxury - from the breathtaking pool area to the sumptuous dining facilities. Breakfast was a particular highlight and the staff were exceptional.

Negative: The location necessitates a 25 minute walk into town for evening entertainment. A shuttle service would have been helpful and is provided in high season apparently. The evening food offering at the hotel is either very high-end fine dining (which was a real treat) or pretty basic bar snacks so most people had to head into Cefalu.

Positive: The location to the sea is unbeatable, very clean rooms, lovely pool, and really excellent food at Calette Reef restaurant!

Negative: It felt like the staff treated us differently for having the “cheapest” room, which was still quite expensive for us! They were cold and not helpful with many things - with the exception of the servers at Calette Reef, they were lovely. All in all, it did not feel like a 5-star resort or worth the high price tag.

Positive: This was easily the best hotel we have ever stayed in where the hotel stay go over and above to ensure you have a fantastic stay. The property is superb with great access to the beach and pool as well as the restaurant in the evening. We wish we could have stayed longer

Positive: Very lovely hotel with lovely facilities. We enjoyed being around the pool and especially the sun bed and lunchtime area overlooking the sea. We were extremely happy as they offered us an upgrade, which was much appreciated. They also helped to provide private transport to our next location and that service was excellent. We were very happy with their service. We are planning to return.

Negative: We just thought it a bit strange that when we had a drink around the pool area, I would have expected a few olives or nibbles, not that I needed them, just noticed that other places we stayed did. Also, the toilets in the bar area, were not up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel, which was beautiful done.

Positive: The hotel is clean and aesthetic, and the staff members were kind. The hotel facilities are amazing, especially the private beach. On Sundays, the public beach is so packed that having a private beach is essential.

Negative: We wanted a lot for the luggage transfer
