We left there with the most beautiful memories and the best thoughts for Mrs. Marylene which consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! Positive: The owner of Le Bonheur Villa is the most extraordinary person. She is very kind, helpful and very caring. We had a very kind reception at Le Bonheur Villa. We got a lot of information regarding places to go on Mahe, we were told about culture and lifestyle in the Seychelles. We also met other staff at Le Bonheur Villa. The chef made exellent food and we had the best food during our stay in the Seychelles the 5 days we stayed at Le Bonheur villa. The other staff was very helpfull.

Positive: Our experience at Le Bonheur Villa in the Seychelles was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived — even at 4am — we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. Marylou, the manager, went above and beyond to facilitate our arrival at that hour, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. She runs the villa with grace and attention to detail, and is also incredibly knowledgeable about wine — if you ask, she will gladly recommend thoughtful pairings that beautifully complement the food. Her suggestions truly enhanced our dining experience. The culinary highlight of our stay was the restaurant — by far the best we experienced in the Seychelles. Chef Bernard's tuna steak was absolutely phenomenal. I can only hope to recreate something even remotely similar at home. The quality of the food, combined with the reasonable prices, makes dining here a true delight. A heartfelt thank you goes to Sushil and Kamala, who looked after our every need with warmth and professionalism. Sushil especially deserves praise — he’s truly a man of many talents and made our stay all the more memorable. We left Le Bonheur Villa with full hearts, satisfied palates, and immense appreciation for the wonderful team that made our trip so special.

Positive: Several things: very helpful manager, both with suggestions for places to see and great flexibility with my travel arrangements; excellent chef, such that I felt no inclination to leave the property for dinner elsewhere; good connection to island bus service, so no need to rent a car. A very relaxing, enjoyable stay!

Summary: Tour operators picked me up and dropped me off at the villa; at the end of a day, a dip in the pool was very welcome!

Positive: A friendly small hotel with great personal service. Marylene, the proprietor, greets you personally, offers tips on what to do, and how to get around. For dinner, you are asked what you would like to have, fresh fish from the market is recommended, and deliciously prepared by her son, chef Bernard. It’s much like staying at a friends home. She dropped us off in town, because she was headed that way, and arranged for transportation when we were leaving.
