Positive: Spacious, immaculately kept; enthusiastic helpful friendly hosts Sandra, Alyson & Sebastian; great breakfast!

Negative: Toilet for night visit down steep stairs from bedroom, but a good handrail for safety.

Summary: Highly recommended & our hosts even were so kind as to give us a lift to town & the rail station only 12 minutes

Positive: I was on transit to Spain and needed a safe and comfi place. It is some time ago but I remember that it was a positive experience.

Negative: I cant remember anything specific. I am not sure but I think blankets / pillows include some synthetics and thus are not the best choice.

Positive: The room was beautifully appointed, Sandra was lovely, even with the language barrier and she was always quick to reply to messages. The room is much bigger than you might think from the photos. The picture of the bed doesn't do it justice and doesn't make it clear that it's just next to a low internal wall and not in a claustrophobic cupboard-like space. It's a lovely space to relax and the A/C is a godsend in the height of summer.

Negative: The walk into town would've been ok for us but with temps were over 33°C it felt like a much longer walk to go and get food. Part of the route home was very badly lit once it got dark too. In terms of the room, the stairs up to the bedroom are very steep with small treads, so may not be great for everyone or those with limited mobility.

Negative: We did not have a car, so it was about a 15 minute walk to get to the city center, but it was not difficult.

Positive: Cute property. Very comfortable. It is about a 20 minute walk to Amboise (so keep that in mind), but I had a car and having parking was more important to me. The host, Sandra, is very friendly and accommodating!

Summary: Great place. I originally booked 1 day and have since added to my stay.
