Summary: Cabin was cozy, especially with a fire going.We had a great view of the stars and a meteor shower at night. Local recommendations for sights, food, gas, firewood, etc were spot on. Some of the cutlery/ utensils weren't completely clean (maybe from the previous guest) but we clean before using regardless.

Summary: Cabin was just exactly set up the way it should be. Plenty of room beautiful views all amenities were there from cook surfaces to grill room to sleep. People enjoyed the hot tub. Just great experience.

Summary: Pro’s:Nice location and check-in was easy. Hot tub. New appliances. Investments/renovations evident - work in progress?Cons:Cleanliness (sausage link in sleeper sofa, dust bunnies. Mechanicals: AC leaked water on floor, open hole in bathroom/laundry room ceiling, 1st floor bedroom window not securely attached to house. Tears in vinyl flooring. Comfort - sleeper sofa was unusable due to extremely thin mattress. Ok stay if you limit your expectations to a 2.5* property in a 4* setting.

Summary: The cabin is large and comfortable. Excellent setup for two couples and children. Inside was clean. The outside needs some picking up, which is to be expected in early springtime in Iowa.Some of the utensils, such as the can opener and vegetable peeler, need replacing.
