Positive: The owner, Tim, was very personable and treated us wonderfully. While the room is not large it has everything you need for a lovely stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our room faced the main lodge. We enjoyed having the door open, feeling the cool breeze, hearing the birds chirping and enjoying the beautiful view. We didn't miss that there wasn't a TV in the room...who needs it with so much beautiful nature all around you. We toured the grounds, which are amazing. The wedding venue under the pine trees, stunning. It would be a magical service. If you stay definitely walk down to the lake. The walk is enjoyable and the lake is a nice quiet respite. We also took advantage of the access to the Weiser River Trail, biking into town for dinner. It was a perfect place to stay for a restful getaway.
