Summary: Nice quiet area one block from Donner Lake yet is only a few minutes from Truckee. The house is user friendly for my wife who uses a walker to get around including a walk in shower. More than enough room for two and a dog. Well equipped kitchen and a bed that is supportive.

Summary: We had a lovely family weekend at the Lazy Bear Bungalow! Check in was super easy, the house is great with a gas fireplace, nice kitchen, comfy couches and beds. Plenty of TVs, which the kids were pumped about. Hot tub was definitely a plus! Loved being able to bring our dog. It is waking distance to the west end beach, but, unfortunately no dogs! Bummer. Overall, a great spot and would stay here again!

Summary: Premium location on the southwest side of Donner Lake! Home was perfect down what we needed & the hot tub was an added bonus. Stairs/ladder to the loft was a little intimidating for our 3 & 5 year old, but they warmed up to it by the end of our stay. Highly recommend for a family looking for an amazing location.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay here and glad we found such a great pick. It was almost perfect for myself, my partner, our two friends, and two pups. One of the bedrooms had a loft that had two bedrooms in there (I didn't realize this until we got there). If we could give some constructive criticism, we would recommend a bath mat for both bathrooms and one for the back door (so people can dry their feet before entering after using the hot tub), trash cans in the bathroom, more kitchen towels and towels for the hot tub, and maybe use some WD-40 on the doors or help it get less sticky. Overall, a great stay with a fully equipped kitchen (had both stainless steel options and non-stick). We're glad we got to stay at this clean and well-furnished place.
