Summary: Lovely apartment, comfortable, well appointed, with large outdoor terrace. Website photos are accurate representation of what you get. Very convenient to excellent grocery store. Bus service very easy and cost effective to Matosinhos and to airport. we were able to get by without a car rental. We walked the nearby beach boardwalk almost daily. The only slight negative was the incessant barking of dogs from a yard across the street which is hardly the property owners fault. Overall a great relaxing stay.

Summary: A lovely apartment with a wonderful balcony. Easy travel on the No 104 bus to Porto (45-60mins). Perhaps a little quiet for younger folk but perfect for a small family or two couples sharing.

Summary: Christelle's apartment is very cozy, greatly decorated and clean. We spent 1 week with the family there and, although the weather was not very good, we felt very well. Unfortunately, because of the rain and wind, we couldn't spend much time on the great terrace. Thank you for a great stay! We would return next time.

Summary: The apartment is very spacious ,well fitted out & clean,it has a magnificent sunlit terrace/balcony that overlooks the sea . There are pleasant easy walks up & down the beautiful sandy coastline to many good restaurants and bars ,can especially recommend "O Diogo" about 10 mins walk up the coast at the entrance to a traditional little fishing village. If you have a car it's a reasonably easy drive to Vila do Conde or to Foz do Douro then into Porto ,better still park in Foz then walk or hop on a bus. Only downside was the usual problem of demented barking dogs,but hey that's Portugal for you 😣

Summary: We stayed in this lovely apartment for just under a week. The terrace is fantastic and the apartment is lovely. We would definitely recommend a car as it is a very residential area and if you want to see more of the area working out the buses is quite hard work. We eat in every night using the facilities which were very adequate and shopping at a fantastic local supermarket just 5 minutes walk away. When we arrived and we asked a taxi driver to take us to the apartment we were worried when he had never heard of the area and when he asked other taxi drivers and they looked confused we were beginning to panic, he eventually found the vague area where we were staying on his tom-tom ! When it came to coming home even though we spent time searching the area for taxis we found non at all, the bus stops were nearby and the buses seemed regular but no signs of timetables and most people didn't speak english or Spanish so it was hard to work out how we were going to get back to the airport. We eventually just went and stood at the nearest bus stop and after not too long a wait and two buses later we arrived at the airport. We would recommend the accommodation which is beautiful but would say definitely hire a car.
