Positive: Very spacious home run by the nicest couple. The house had everything we needed - coffee, tea, laundry, AC - and is in a nice location, 5 minute walk to norihama beach or about 15 minutes walk to dogashima. They provided us with ample recommendations and made sure our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Positive: Huge house with a lot of space. Amazing kitchen with everything available, including condiments, sauces, etc... The hosts were very attentive to make sure we understood everything, to make our stay as good as possible. Choice of futon or beds is a big plus. It was cold outside but the house was very warm, including the bathroom. Beautiful ofuro. Strong wifi and a parking spot completed the picture. Strongly recommended as a base on the west coast of Izu peninsula.

Negative: That we couldn't stay longer.

Positive: I loved staying at Lavender! My partner and I were for just one night and we had no complaints whatsoever. The rooms were spacious and clean. I also loved the little personal touches everywhere--cute decorations, pretty plants, and even pink toilet paper! My partner appreciated the living room area as he was able to do a 4 hour online work meeting comfortably. We were able to quickly drive to Dogashima in the morning and enjoy the gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Negative: The bathroom towels were in the bedroom, so it took us a little while to find. Just a very minor complaint--everything else was great!

Summary: Lovely, clean and spacious home in eastern Izu Peninsula!

Positive: It has been an absolute pleasure to stay in Lavender. Appartment is very nicely renovated, offering 2 bedrooms - both futon bedroom and western style bedroom. Sparkling clean, huge appartment, good location for beach or sunset onsen. Owners are super friendly and nice people.

Positive: Spacious flat. We had access to the ground floor and there were two bedrooms, a dining room, and a living room. More than enough space for us.
