Positive: Gorgeous location and the property inside was stunning. Extremely comfortable and well stocked with amenities. The fire was perfect for those cold October evenings.

Positive: Very quaint thatched cottage in a beautiful village, close to the riverside. Full of character. Very well- equipped kitchen, including cleaning products. Warm and cosy with central heating and a nice gas fire. Two bathrooms. Small front and rear gardens. We reported a drain problem to the owner and it was very rapidly solved and communicated in an excellent manner.

Negative: No parking or EV charging facility. Off season you can park in the small street opposite but in season you have to park down the hill by the River Shack cafe- although a permit is provided. The cottage needs some sort of coat hooks and shoe rack. Particularly needed in wet weather. Overall cleanliness was good but there were lots of dusty corners which you tend to get in older properties, mostly in the double bedroom. The wardrobes and kitchen cupboards are dated and need a refresh- at least new doors.

Summary: Relaxing spring break in a cosy cottage, full of character.
