So much natural light from the expansive windows as well as soaring ceilings make this the perfect open and airy place for your stay in the mountains.
This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom A-frame home boasts a large open livingroom with a charming wood-burning fireplace as the centerpiece. The Master and guest bedroom are on the main level, sporting Queen-sized beds. Up above, through the metal spiral staircase, you'll find a loft space overlooking the main area of the home with a bedroom on either side (Full, 2 Twins) and an additional bathroom.
This home has two parking areas, an open deck, and a lower level with access to the laundry. Newly added paved parking pad leads down into a firepit area next to the house, which then continues either to the front door or the rear steps up to the deck.
Located only a few minutes from Main Street Highlands, so you can enjoy your getaway without being too out-of-reach from the many shops and restaurants that Downtown has to offer!

For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.

Summary: Laurel Cottage is beautiful, practical, and homey in layout and decor. How can you go wrong with three full bathrooms, four private bedrooms and a welcoming, comfortable great room surrounded by nature, and close to town too? Everyone in our party was happy. Thank you for making an extended wedding weekend all the more charming.

Summary: Our visit was fine but the owner needs to take care of a few things - especially the hand rail going to the front door. The top section of the rail near the road is missing causing a hazard for guest.

Summary: Such a private peaceful get-a-way! Spent evenings on the deck enjoying the fire pit. Nice surprise was plenty of firewood stacked underneath the house. Beds were comfy, decor and appliances nice and updated. Would stay there again for sure!

Summary: Awesome little, super cozy cabin.. just a quick drive to downtown Highlands. Very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. As other reviewers mentioned, the driveway is a little steep and there is a spiral staircase that may not suit everyone; we had no issues with either though. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We loved it!

Summary: Thank you so much for letting us stay at this lovely cabin for Christmas. It was so cozy and comfortable. The decor felt like you were living in a magazine, it was so unique and eclectic, and warm. The layout was perfect for our family of 8. We had everything we needed.
