Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The kitchen was by far the cleanest we've come across during our travels in Iceland – everything from the plates and cups to the cutlery was spotless and well-organised. It made cooking and dining in real pleasure. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of homemade welcome cookies – they were absolutely delicious! Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for stay in Iceland.

Negative: The cottage itself is quite compact, and there wasn’t much space to fully open two suitcases at once – but we managed 😀

Positive: The cottage was very private and quiet in a lovely location. The hosts were very kind and helpful--the wife made us welcome cookies and cake. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was a nice size. Excellent wifi.

Positive: Set in a “green” location, grassy slopes and forest behind. Could hear the birds so a nice peaceful environment away from the Myvatn hordes! Well located for visiting different areas. Could have stayed a 3rd day but had to move on. The house was modern, clean, spacious and well equipped. Our hosts were very friendly, spoke good English so had perfect communication and we were welcomed with delicious home cooked biscuits. Petrol station and supermarket within 5 mins. Prices always difficult to rate as Iceland is expensive.

Positive: We’ve stayed at many small cabins around Iceland and this one exceeded our expectations. It’s very clean, well appointed, and cozy. The owners have taken care to attend to the small details. We visited in early October and the cabin was warm and well insulated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is behind the owners house but is very private and has a nice view of the surrounding area.

Negative: We liked everything about it.
