Positive: We recently stayed at this Airbnb for a wedding weekend, and while the house itself was charming and had a lot of potential, our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The interior of the home was clean, well-thought-out, and overall nicely maintained. You can tell it’s an older house, but the decor and layout made it feel cozy and inviting. Everything inside was as expected based on the listing, and we appreciated the effort that went into keeping the space tidy and comfortable. However, the exterior of the home was a major letdown. It looked significantly different than the pictures on the listing, which was especially disappointing since we had planned to take wedding photos outside based on how nice it appeared online. In reality, the outside was quite rundown and not maintained to the level shown in the photos. For a home that is currently listed for sale, we expected much more curb appeal. The front door handle was also completely broken, and the only way to secure the door was with the electronic deadbolt. While it worked, it didn’t feel very secure or convenient, especially for multiple guests coming and going. Additionally, the air conditioning was heavily restricted. It became very hot and uncomfortable at night, which is a major issue in Florida, especially during warmer months. Overall, it is a nice home on the inside, but a few key issues—especially the misleading exterior photos and the lack of temperature control—took away from the experience. With a few improvements, it could be a fantastic stay, but as it stands, we were a bit disappointed.
