Summary: I can’t rave about this property or recommend it enough. The home is wonderful and the Austrian Alp setting is nothing short of amazing. There was a slight language barrier but easily overcome. It was hard packing up and leaving. Even with its remote location there was a small restaurant just a two minute walk down the road. Shopping for food and supplies was a short 15 minute drive.

Summary: We loved our stay in Aschau. The space was ideal for our big family (6 adults, 4 kids) as a launch pad for ski trips. We were worried about driving in the snow conditions, but even though the photos of the valley look steep, the road itself winds up gradually and was plowed. We will never forget all the fireworks across the valley at midnight on New Years Eve - magical!
