Summary: We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds.

Summary: Excellent hiking and walking opportunities through beautiful countryside. Short walk to a beautiful swimming pool. Easy walk to train or bus. Plenty of shopping opportunities in Waldstatt, Herisau or St. Gallen. We hope to be able to visit again.

Summary: We came from Florida so having a nice warm home was very important to us. We also had warm communications with the owner although he is not in the community. He had friends nearby helping us as needed. Looking forward to coming back!

Summary: It was a very quiet and nice place. We had trouble understanding where and how to dispose of the garbage. The instructions about this were only in German and we were not accustomed to the habits of Switzerland. Next time we will know!

Summary: The house was in a great location. The owner was very responsive. When we first got there, the garage was not unlocked but he quickly had someone come and remedy the situation. The house is basic and clean. The washing machine was an added bonus. Since we are Americans, it would be nice to have some explanation of some of the appliances in English. It also was quite warm and a few fans would have made the experience more comfortable
