Positive: Property was wonderful! House was spacious, clean, and exceeded all of our expectations! We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings watching Christmas movies. We also loved watching the squirrels play in the trees while relaxing in the hot tub. Our property contact, Leland, was informative, polite, and so welcoming to us to make our first visit to Dahlonega that we couldn't wait to pull into the driveway of the property for the first time. We would recommend this property to anyone interested in checking out the wonderful community of Dahlonega. The townspeople were super friendly, local eateries hit the spot, the Hallmark Christmas movie atmosphere was as advertised, and the surrounding countryside is truly a site to behold. If you are interested in booking a fantastic getaway to Dahlonega look no further than this property!

Negative: Make sure to leave yourself plenty of time if you are interested in riding the horse carriage in the town square. We absolutely loved it, but it was a pretty lengthy wait.

Positive: We loved the hot tub on the deck. It was great to have several different common areas so we weren’t on top of each other. The host was wonderful and very responsive when we had questions and resolved an issue we had very quickly.

Negative: The rooms were very large and plentiful but the mattresses were quite hard. Not a problem though after getting used to them. We could’ve used a few more towels for our large group but we made due.

Summary: We had a fabulous stay in this charming home that was full of comfort and character!

Positive: The home was very clean and perfect for our weekend in the mountains for our son‘s wedding. I would highly recommend the house. It is wonderful for entertaining.

Negative: Everything is wonderful. The beds were a little hard.

Positive: The accommodations were clean, spacious, with plenty of activities for everyone (outdoor fireplace, jacuzzi, billiards room, etc.) The property is beautiful and our contact was wonderful to work with.

Negative: Really nothing we disliked. A warning though, to use caution if you’re not able to turn your vehicle around and are only able to back up the driveway: there is a soft spot full of gravel on one corner where the driveway meets the road. Low-riding vehicles will likely get stuck if it’s not avoided.

Summary: An awesome place to stay for a family reunion or group of friends!

Positive: It was close to downtown and the square. Lots of room for everyone, very spacious. Everything was neat, tidy, clean. We were provided with extras that most rentals don’t provide, ie paper towels, toiletries, a well stocked kitchen.

Negative: The only thing we didn’t like was a lack of mirrors in bedrooms, and no hangers in closets.

Summary: Spacious, clean all all we could ask for, near all the restaurants and shops
