Summary: I chose this venue as the perfect place to hold a surprise weekend for my brothers 50th Birthday , there were 19 of us and a baby and planned a relaxed weekend with chilled out time in the gardens and hot tub !! We weren't dissapointed in the slightest , the house is beautiful with lovely decor and every bedroom was decorated to a high standard . There was so much space and the kitchens were well equipped and the Aga was fab !! Kate the owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and relaxed , we will definitely return !!!

Summary: Booked this as a family holiday and then changed to a wedding venue. Katie and her family are very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely a must see holiday home for large family get togethers. We had 17 adults and 5 children. Property is very clean and the gardens maintained to very high standard.There are enough lounges, dining rooms and outside spaces so you are never all on top of each other. The massive dining room is just perfect of large dinners. The kitchen also has a large table as well as an AGA and a normal range cooker.Enough tableware and cutlery for everyone. For me one of the highlights was the views from the windows overlooking the garden and beyond. Just stunning. Our photographer was in seventh heaven. The outside is just amazing with enough seating for everyone. The hot tub and the pool are really good and tucked just out of view of main house so you can have a bit of privacy as well as being a meeting place for all the family. Overall a magical place to spend a week - you will not be disappointed. and if you get the chance also visit the Globe Inn which is at the end of the Lane - a warm welcome awaits you there along with superb food. There are lots of pleasant walks from the house as well as beaches being a short drive away.

Summary: Rented this house for my 50th birthday celebrations. Mixed party from 74yrs to 5 months.... Owners, housekeeper, house and garden were all excellent and delivered as advertised. House was fully equipped even down to chimnea being ready with wood and rosemary and log fire ready to go. Milk in fridge and bottle of red on arrival... What more could I have wanted. Hot water was a little sparse on one day but soon sorted by Pip the lovely housekeeper. Thank you, thank you... Will definitely use again.
