Summary: I simply wanted an overnight stay whilst busy during both days in Bristol. The welcome was friendly, the facilities met my needs and I had a good night’s sleep and a warm shower with good water pressure. It was good to be able to easily park and come and go as I pleased.

Summary: The Hotel was in a good location and near to a couple of pubs. I left a little too early for breakfast. Only one thing but it is only small could have done with more milk in the room only 3 small cartons other than that I will be staying with them again

Summary: Fantastic hotell in a calm area. Carefully renovation building from 17th century. Cozy place with all you can ask for of you want a typical British Inn. There are Mats in the stairs an pigeons on the roof and as the owner Said:Witherspoon you love it or you hate it. I definitely love it!

Summary: The hotel is in an old building situated in a residential area. I was given a room right opposite the breakfast room and was awakened early in the morning when the staff came in to set up breakfast. The bedroom was big and old and doesn’t seem well maintained. The small shower cubicle has no space for my own toiletries (hotel doesn’t provide shampoo or conditioner). It’s quite far from Bristol city centre.

Summary: Welcome was great for check in as the guy (sorry forgot your name !) was there, but it sounded easy enough if he wasnt , which was good for us. The building is just so historic... which we loved (and being so close to north Bristol which we needed) It was clear from the publicity and the conversation with the guy that this is a work in progress as they have not long taken over the B&B and the now closed pub next door. Breakfast is a continental DIY and was just right . Lovely walking woods across the way, despite being in middle of a housing estate . Downsides for us were our room was a bit tired and bedside tables were sticky - but it was the least expensive and maybe smallest and sheets and towels were spotless (bed comfy also). The floors are VERY creaky but its a 300 yr old house... we could hear our neighbours creaking, snoring and a dog barking lol . The lovely guy at check in warned us about this again (I saw the reviews also) and its just one of the things about old houses. They want to keep the history of the place...which is really important and will make it even more special when work is finished. There was also a fire safety green light on the ceiling all night, so if you struggle with sleeping I would wait until they have renovated...this place will be amazing and we will def come back to try it...if we can afford it ! It will be the place to stay and eat - and a roof terrace eatery will set it apart. Thank you and good luck with it all

Summary: The place is very comfortable and offered a very nice breakfast. The only slight issue was that for some of my group, their rooms had a green emergency light permanently on in the line of sight in their rooms, which affected their quality of sleep.
